When a person decides to open an independent theater company in New York, she naturally gets many questions. The most common is, 'What the hell are you thinking?' This is followed by, 'Why open another company when there are already so many?' and 'Do you really want to be distracted from your art by insurance quotes and bargaining for production space?' The answer is simple: great collaboration creates great art, so when a team works together well, it is worth fighting for.
